Concrete & Delivery Policies and Procedures
Concrete Payments & Credits:
Please email or call us for current concrete pricing and delivery. All prices are subject to change without notice. With proper application and approval, a credit card accounts may be arranged.
Terms are net from invoice date. Interest will be charged on all delinquent accounts at a periodic rate of 1-1/2% per month which is 18% per annum.
Minimum Delivery Charges:
Our delivery charges are based on the distance from Kilauea town to jobsite delivery address. Minimum 1/2-yard delivery cost starting at $175.00, plus GE Tax @ .04166%.
Additional service fees may also apply during delivery. Please contact us for more delivery information.
Payment Identification:
For concrete sales, we shall require identification on all sales transactions as follows:
1. Valid Hawaii State Driver's License.
2. Delivery Address to include full address, city & zip, plus TMK for delivery location.
3. Clients 'Credit Card' mailing address required when CC's are used.
4. Client paying with 'Personal Checks' may be required prior approval.
Concrete Deposits:
Deposits are required for any item rented unless credit has been established in advance.
Deposit can be an approved by credit card (Visa, American Express, and MasterCard),
or an open check (with Local Bank approval).
Cash deposits may be required in certain situations.
Delivery Reservations:
It is always a good idea to reserve concrete delivery in advance.
[a] All reservations shall allow 'plus or minus' of 30-45 minutes for delivery window,
based upon estimated reservation / appointment for concrete delivery as scheduled.
[b] Some reservations may require full payment / or starting deposit.
Equipment Insurances:
Our insurance carrier establishes minimum towing requirements for our trucks, trailers and equipment.
[a] Triple axle trailers, requires a tow vehicle of 17,500GVW with a minimum wheel base of 133 inches.
The wheelbase measurement being made between the front and rear axle centers.
[b] This also applies to towed equipment trailers with a gross vehicle weight (GVWR) in excess of 10,000 lbs. In addition some larger or heavier trailers shall require a 1-ton or larger chassis.
